Re: Compact Wheel vs Spare Wheel.

I always though apart from a size issue (depth of the well) that it was simply a cost saving exercise ?

A 20" front will fit the well diameter of course but at 9.5" over a regular 8.5" spare, is too tall for the boot floor cover when i tried it.

Re: Anyone upgraded there Tv tuner to digital?

Don't bother with it, especially at those prices. The signal breaks up the minute you move the car, rendering it un-watchable and therefore pretty pointless. Even if for static use, you have to retune it every time you want it, as your location change means a different signal is required. Tedious im...

Re: Part number needed (Rear seat electric backrest switch)

If you're confident the pre and post facelift switches are the same, then my chassis number identifies switch #6, which confirms your thoughts.

Much as i'd like to confirm that physically, tbh, i'm loathe to strip down the overhead console to get to the switch itself.

Re: Oil consumption or unseen leak?

I think your only option is to drop the under cover and take a look for leaks or residue leaks?

A eBay seller does offer an exchange service, though not all wheel styles.

Re: 20" 4.6is wheels and tyres

FWIW, i let my set go far too cheaply, less than i paid for them before the refurb, but, times are hard for many and they occupied too much of my garage, so £600 bought them and they're gone.

Blaupunkt IVMS-5802 5.8" colour monitor

Another item from a mod that never was. This is a brand new unit, (despite the scruffy box) that was going to sit in a custom made pod between the front seats. Sadly the pod i had made was ruined when i moved home and i abandoned the whole idea. I recall i paid a lot for this, though it was a while ...

Re: rear doors won't open

It sounds like the lock actuators are sticking or failed/ing.

Use the warranty for that , pita job to do and not so cheap iirc.

Good luck
