Hi and welcome to the forum
Congrats on your X5 and yes they can have a few electrical gremlins, but usually a lot are down to an ageing or low charged battery.
It's worth putting a post up of the problem as members should be able to help

Hi
My question in respect of this this is would this still apply after Brexit, at whatever date that occurs, as we would no longer be part of the EU ?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Congrats on your X5, and although big the do drive pretty well for an SUV. The 7 seats are a good option not many about in the earlier cars.
There's plenty of help available on here.

Hi
Nice spec on the M, esp the B&O system and full leather definitely rare.
There not much worse on petrol than the 4.4 or 4.6 or even the 4.8, you really don't use most of the power all of the time.
Look forward to pics
Graeme.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Congrats on your hybrid X5 and it will be good to hear more on how you get on with it.
I don't know much about hybrids and these alongside electric cars look like the future of motoring

Hi
That should be different to the M5 but again good to drive and it's certainly a change from the older E53.
I look forward to hearing more details about it.

It definitely looks good in white.
However, as you say with the weather mud flaps might be a good idea, if you have a look at BMW direct on eBay it should help identify which ones for you.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear about the problems with the discovery, but hopefully you will find the X5 an improvement.
I think you will find it more rewarding to drive on the road

Re: wheel arch extensions where to buy
Hi Looking at eBay nothing from BMW on there only set from Latvia but may be worth checking if originals or are probably reproductions. You could try the part number with Cotswold BMW as they do discounts for member of the forums. Alternatively it's a case of scrap breakers yards which can be tricky...

Hi and welcome to the forum.
From the pics it looks a real tidy example of an E53.
There are not that many left looking as good and are getting harder to find all the time.
