Did you keep the X5 Leslie? Yes its still here and mot'ed last month though its been parked most of the last 3 months and I sorned it last month as I have a cheap runabout Passat b6 now as it was getting too expensive to run . It's common for the hard plastic corner pieces on the bulkhead to crack and let water run onto the rear 2 injectors , my drivers one was split that covers the master cylinder they are about 110 each new ! I could get a secondhand one they were all broke too.

I couldn't see any on my 35d either ,if you leave the expansion cap off while it warms at idle and squeeze a hose to get the air out it will sort itself out usually
