Another year, another MOT
Just done the mot on a new to me 320d. Couldn't find last years advisories brake pipes covered in grease and a few other bits. I just changed the bags myself and car went back to normal job done.
J make sure you fit the new 0 rings that come with the bags as seen people getting problems with leaving old ones on.

Satnav update weirdness
Your lucky it updates. A new to me E90 with the CIC system fails the update at 58% no matter where i get the update file from. Stuck with 2021 maps so tom-tom it is. Have you had a look here for any software updates - in case that’s the root cause? https://www.bmw.com/en/footer/software-updates.htm...

Had a Milwaukie one for some time now and it's a godsend for me getting on in years plus semi disabled.
It wasn't cheep but it takes the same battery as my other tools so made sense o get it.
But i still use my torque wrench to finish the job.

Belt would be the first thing i would change.
I recently fitted a new one on my 320d and that did this so changed it again and all ok now.
Both belts where good brands Dayco was the first and replaced with Gates.
