Re: Performance in snow - 20 wheels

I now have a F15 on 20” wheels and it’s rubbish in snow, worse than most 2 wheel drive cars. I purchased a 19” set of winter wheels with Goodyear tyres direct from BMW and never had a problem, I now have an e70 set of 19” wheels with less than 3,500 miles for sale, no punctures or kerb damage, looki...

Re: Advanced Car Eye

I had advanced eye in my X4 and one in my X5, both from new. They will not load to iPhone or iOS only PC and android. You could always download to PC using the USB adaptor, I had someone run in the back of my X4, the number plate could clearly be read, used the advanced eye now for over five years, ...

Re: Stoplock Pro Elite lock

It depends on what car you have I use one on my 2017 X5 Msport but my daughter had an e70 Msport and it would not fit. If you have a f15 X5 it should fit no problem.

Has social distancing affected the forum

It is noticeable how few posts there are on the forum, has everyone taken social distancing to a new level. I would have thought this is the time for high levels of forum traffic :fuelfire:

Extending bmw warantee

How do people feel about extending the manufacturer’s warranty after the three years is up. They have offered a continuation or the warranty for the fourth year with breakdown cover at £834 for the year with a £250 excess. Would you take it or is there a better alternative, the car has just covered ...

Re: Will the diesel be saved.

Having owned a 4.4 petrol X5, I would always buy diesel now, as I just want torque. Electric has torque but it is noware near practical yet. Ask yourself, how is the ‘grid’ is going to cope with 32 million cars plunging in at 5.0 pm every night? Just remind me how electricity is produced!

Re: How to spend a fun Saturday......

Thanks for that, my f15 is too new then.
While I have had e53, e70, X4 and f15, I have always had the 5 year service pack but this was no longer available for the f15, so this in effect is the first time I will have to pay for a service.

Can I ask about PVR’s reference to 10% discount ?
Is this available for a f15 service?
