I always found the Lidl windscreen stuff used at 50% dilute good and cheap as well, no problems with gunging up.

Good news !! Car passed MOT with only 1 advisory >>>>>Tyre slightly damaged/ cracking or perishing (all four ) [5.2.3 (d)(!!)]. So panic over and ok for another 12 months. It would seem that Michelin have discontinued the Diamaris tyre, so what is the replacement ? Are Hancook ?? any good ?? Lez

At the last MOT on my 2002 4.4 x5 E53 (Nov 2001) I had an advisory for : all 4 tyres perishing and cracking. They are hair line cracks and barely visibly , I have done 400 miles since this MOT. and have 6-7mm tread remaining Now should I wait for the next MOT (Tues 15th Nov 22) and see what happens ...

I have a 2002 4.4 E53 X5. I am after a new battery, preferably maint free as I have a girt big lpg tank sitting on top of the battery and have to remove the lpg tank to gain access. My obvious solution is to buy a maint free lithium battery , so any suggestions, the more power the better. As an asid...

Have some fun and fit an E46M type paddleshift steering wheel and convert to paddleshift as well, i've done it, but cannot remember how (the vagaries of being nearly 80).
Also had the lpg conversion fitted.
