Lost the instructions. I have a battery on charge on the bench and after 5 days the regeneration light has finally come on. Is there any point in leaving it connected or can it be stored now for latter use.

I have our car connected to a CTEK 5.0A unit and it stays connected for 6 months. The light cycles every 5-10 days from memory. If it’s a bench battery then it should be fine to leave it somewhere dry for weeks I would have thought.

CTEK Charger manuals can be found here (there’s also an archive for out of production models):

:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Batteries do lose charge over time to a topup every month or so , or just leave it connected ,I do for 6 months on other cars as well.
