Air temp sensor...where is it?

Post by storminmike » Thu Feb 19, 2015 1:23 pm

Mine occasionally plays up and goes -40c. Realoem only shows the sensor not where it is. Is it behind a panel or reachable without removing the bumper?

Which side is it on?

Pictures?

I think it is front right corner above a plastic panel??
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

Well that's a start :))..somehow I got it into my head it was inside an air duct? I've struggled to find exact info save for it;s possiibly inside or under the wing possibly forward of the wheel

It's a bit weird this fault as it went inot minus fault mode but steadilly came back to life one degree at a time. Fault I believe is open circuit so maybe it's water in the plug. The obvious downside is perhaps it triggering the webasto for no reason at start. Weekend poke around I guess, there is a hatch to the bumper area from the wheel well
