Congrats, did you check it over and fix anything before taking it for its mot?

Love it...

Adjusted hand brake, and cleaned rear light contacts.
That's all I did.
So really rather pleased.
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....

Just found out the hand brake efficiency is not brilliant, but significantly better than the pass mark.

Still room for improvement!!

16%, so as you say, not terribly efficient.

got mine tested 2 weeks ago (it passed ! :D) and Im sure the guy didnt even bother pulling the handbrake on....lol....really!

Mine wouldn't even stop it creaping forward when you put it in drive on tick over. Still passed.
Unlike 2 wheel drive cars , permanent 4 wheel drive motors can't be tested on the brake testers, so it's old school and down to the testers short test drive, mine was a 50 yard drive down the back street.

True enough, they can't test a 4WD on regular brake testing equipment. I once had a tester, whilst doing my P38 Range Rover and not testing the brakes, say that if I'd managed to get 2.5 tons of car to their garage without destroying every car in front, there's a good chance the brakes are fine.

Seemed logical at the time.
