Could have been on a private plate, this sometimes delays it being recognised on several sites.
Go to check if this car is taxed on Google, this is the VOSA/ DOT site to check if cars are taxed.
If it's not on there, THEN WORRY !!!!!

The guy that owned it had it for 18 months and it wasn't on a private plate.

I know it's taxed as I've had my confirmation of the direct debit and I've just checked on the government website and all details are correct on there showing tax and mot

Strange........

Try here:  https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-tax

DVLA won't issue a V5 if it was wrong.

Did you buy the one with reg ending in RTO off eBay?

Shows up on my reg checker.

If that is your reg, a little research suggests that was previously associated with what appears to be a private plate B5CLS.

I guess this could be the reason it's not appearing on some databases.
