Bloody windscreen wipers on 2004 E53 3.0 D - please help me sort

Post by Smeeagain » Mon Feb 22, 2016 1:13 am

So I need to replace my wipers. I always use Bosch aerotwin. So the fronts are fine. And yes I know I could replace rear with E70 fit but that is not my query. I've ordered a front/rear combined set - they've arrived and front are ok, but my current (and previous) rear has a triangular Bosch branded block - insert wiper close flap on block to secure, job done. New set has not got the  block. Pics below hopefully

Can i attach this as is? Do I have the worng ones? Can anyone post a link to the correct fitting Bosch aero wiper please?

I tried some of these Newfangled Aero wipers - bloody useless...

They flop around like a witches tits.... I do lots of motorway driving, and the damned things literally flap about & won't clear the screen.

I rolled into a Halfords and simply replaced with a Bosch set of traditional wipers with the spoilers on them to keep them on the screen at high speeds & windy conditions - job done.

They've worked fine for me for five years, replacing each year or so.

Back to my question - does the rear one shown (without the triangular block) - will it fit?

yes I could just try it on the car but the existing one is cracked so want to be sure before I go taking it off as I know it will disintegrate
