Parking brake failure

Post by pcdee » Wed Jun 24, 2015 6:52 pm

Hello all

As the title says.

Had her out of a service which included glow plugs, glow plug controller, egr thermostat and oil change.
Probably not related but after a couple of days I pulled up and pressed the park button and 'bing' the warning appears in yellow.
I can clear the fault and used the handbrake but every so often it will come back.

Sticky cables, or actuator unit, worn shoes.  Could be any of them.
