X5 e53 3.0d 53 plate and Honda vtr1000 fun time

There's a thread already on the boards, and the findings were that the windscreen doesn't seem to want to play as you'll not get a clear reading

What about the ones that plug in the obd port how would the widescreen display affect that????

If you buy one with a special piece of plastic that sticks to the screen you'll find it easier.

My X6 has a HUD and the windscreen is thicker at the bottom and tapers so the reflection from the outer laminate glass layer is shifted to match that of the inner laminate glass layer when it arrives at the driver's eyes.

Normal laminated screens give a double image because the reflections are in slightly different positions.

Using a slightly opaque patch stuck in the screen stops the second reflection.
