Hi

That is looking good, and proves the hard work was worth it esp in that cool colour.

From looking at the pics and as you said you said it has the extended arches which suit the car.

@Nick73 thanks mate. The Eonon is s quality system to be fair. It does receive mixed reviews but a few months in and I can only give positive feedback. Treat it like an android tablet brain, therefore fully app support and for example I piggy back my phones WiFi through the device so a constant 4G/3G connection enables streaming of music, catchup tv, email etc. I also have an android Line-in along with an installed USB Line-in so can pick and choose my media

Personally I recommend the D5166 and would be more than happy to elaborate if you need

Ps. Thanks for all the positive comments on the X5. I fell in love with the Le Mans edition as soon as I saw it - and also very very hard to find another with such great service history and low miles WITH the wide body kit - stumbled on a real rare car I think

Cheers guys  :)

Paintwork looks amazing, would never have thought that would work, but it so does.

Thanks  Mikey, Like you say it gets mixed reviews around the web, (like most of the chinese aftermarket head units) but its half the price of the Dynavin, but then  I had a xtrons with pop out screen in an old shogun, and that was solid.  Couple of q's if thats ok

Did you have to cut out bits of the dash /  cage to get it to fit it?  Thats the other thing that a few threads have said, or was it a pretty straight swap?

Did you manage to get the radio / back light to work they seem to be gremlins also, but theres a few suggested fixes around the place

I've said in another thread, my bm54 is on its way out and so is my nav screen hence the interest!

Cheers

@Richard137 no dont worry mate,  A friend of mine works for a car manufacturer (mention no names) and they have an on site bodyshop for accident damage etc - as an after hours job including the paint it cost £1300.00 but like I said that was paint included in that price.

A few people who I spoke too mentioned around the £800.00 mark but my guy has done a full through job and specifically mixed my colour.  I cant even imagine how much BMW would cost for that sort of service and custom colour!

Its a real trippy colour, looks great at low loight but also takes on a great colour in direct sunlight.  I will try get some daytime pics.  I can only describe it as like a super black Cadburys purple :/
