HI again...BMW X5 E53 2006 3.0d Sport
Just acquired BMW software...INPA / EDIABAS.
My "Check Brake Lining" message is intermittently flagging up on the dash display.
I know there are 2 x brake wear sensors on the car, one front and one rear.
Can I look into my software to determine which sensor is playing up so I take the right wheel off first time?
If so....any quick description as to how with this software please?
Thanks !

INPA Check brake wear sensors.
Re: INPA Check brake wear sensors.
If memory serves me correctly the front indicator is on the nearside and the rear one on the offside
the wear indicators are quite fragile and can break up through age
your best off pulling the wheel off and checking the pad thickness and then the wires

Yeah I know BUd....but before I start jacking up the car and removing wheels, .........to save time and effort, I wondered if the software would send me to the faulty sensor first time ??
Re: INPA Check brake wear sensors.
i've not noticed an option in the software to show which sensor is causing the code tbh
