There has been an advisory on the cars MOT for a couple of years now - corroded brake pipes/lines.
The discs were lipped also.
So i decided to get the following done:
1. Rigid brake lines changed
2. Brake discs changed
3. Brake pads
4. Brake pad sensors
5. Flexi brake pipes
The usual brake pad light came on, which cleared after keeping the key in position 2 for 30 seconds.
The only error that is still present is the Check Brake Linings.
How do i get rid of this error?
Unsure which part of the braking system this relates to.

Re: Check Brake Linings
It's normally a tripped sensor, or bad wiring (water). If it has triggered they don't reset and must be replaced.

Re: Check Brake Linings
Problem Solved.
Drove it for about 10mins. Pulled up to turn it off. No warning.
Not been any warnings since.

Re: Check Brake Linings
Sounds suspiciously like damp wiring. Probably worth checking the connectors on the cable are properly home and water can't track in via a bit of dirt.
