How to fix this ...?
How to fix this ...?
Noticed today the emblem has come off my bonnet badge. Not too bothered as It was looking a bit scruffy and needed replaced anyway. I dont know whether it simply fell off or was prised off by some vagabond. Do i need the whole 'shell' or can i buy just the emblem - looked on evay but so far havent seen the right one - appreciate it if someone can post a link - hopfully I can attach an image from my phone

Re: How to fix this ...?
You'll need to just buy a replacement badge tbh buddy.
Don't think anyone does just the centre section piece as they tend to be glued to the frame.

Re: How to fix this ...?
Ok so how to remove the old one please ?
Re: How to fix this ...?
Just need to carefully pry it up as it has 2 locating pins on the back that fit into the mounting plugs and some double sided sticky pads possibly.

If you don't have a plastic trim tool to to shove between the silver plastic rim & the bonnet....try using an unused/dead credit/cash card.... once it starts to lift, get your finger nails under it & it will come off.

Realoem link for part numbers. Parts 1&2 depending upon state of the grommets.
Parts 3&4 are only for the boot lid.

Ah BMW themselves do them but I recon at the price they would charge for it probably best to just buy the whole badge lol.
