Headlight condensation

Post by Dan1502 » Tue Feb 01, 2011 5:20 pm

Is condensation in the headlights a warranty issue or something you just sort out yourself with a hairdryer or similar method? (I think I read somewhere it is a warranty claim issue but am not sure iirc)

If it's under warranty, ask them. Be clear you don't wish to be charged for this so if they are unsure, get them to take it up with BMW GB first. If an E70, you could have a seal fault causing this problem, which to me, is a warranty claim...

It's an E53, 2004 but has an approved used warranty. It's due in for some programming so just thought I'd see if anyone knows before I speak to them.
