Fuel price

Post by Reedster » Mon Feb 26, 2018 6:07 pm

We all know that motorway services charge more for fuel but 21p a litre more was a rip off today. Put in £25 just to keep going. Cost at home was £118.9 a litre for Esso against Shell at the services.
Gave the X5 a nice run from Cornwall to LHR to collect the daughter then back home before tea. Average mpg was reading 30.5, which I was happy with. The first long run I have given the X, very pleased.  :)

I was at Scotch Corner last week.. 145.00  per litre.    119.9p in my home town.  I too put in 10 quid to get me home, then filled up with 70 quids worth .  Every penny counts!! it's more principle than anything!
