Yep had my 3.0d remapped over Christmas. Awesome. Better fuel economy and grunt to boot.
Love rounding up sport hatches etc

Going back on sunday for the wheels to be redone.
They were fully refurbed (20" diamond cut 333)
Cleaned them today and yellow streaks have appeared that qill not come off?

So they are getting sent away and re done

Hi

If you have them diamond cut again like mine have been done they will probably only last about 2 years before needing to be refurbished as the lacquer is not that tough.

It's easier to have them fully painted whether Gloss black or Matt black or BMW do ferric grey on some wheels which is nice contrast, but all will work with your black X5.

Personally I would either go for gloss black or ferric grey and avoid diamond cutting them again.
