Expected Garage Cost / time of replacing serpentine belt please?

Hello again...

More probs this time with the "Ultimate Driving Machine".

Last few days of holiday ruined as the serpentine belt broke on friday, took the RAC 15 hours to attend and recover the car..no garages to mend it over the weekend.

Due out of hotel tomorrow morning, hotel full, no car, many miles from the garage and the job hasn't yet been started.

Can anyone give me an expected price, / job time for a garage to replace this belt for me please.

If it eventually gets us home, I am considering part ex ' ing it for a Reliant Robin...

I would say an hour or so.  I had to remove mine when doing the oil filter housing gasket and it took about 20 mins.  Mine is a 3.0 petrol so,don't know if that makes a difference

Took about 10 minutes to do mine.
Done from underneath and fed into the cowling and round the fan.
1 Spanner to hold the tensioner job done .

Jeez...thanks lads....I didn't know what to expect, may not be too pricey then and may get car back before we get hoofed out of the hotel at 12

£71 quid fitted, pushed to front of job queue and delivered car back to our hotel personally so we could be on our way home.

What a great outfit.

If you're ever stuck in south east Cornwall, give DOWNEND GARAGE a call....He was away car racing but said if he hadn't been he would have opened the garage on sunday and done it himself for us.
