I removed the drivers seat from my X5 D-Sport to access the centre console, & since the seat was refitted & re-connected... the air bag warning icon is on in the cluster.
The battery was almost flat at the same time, but now fully charged...
How do i get the airbag light to go out ?
Any one any ideas?
Regards to all.

Diagnostics scanner to turn it off only way i think.
The disconnect the battery trick might work not sure but not that easy to do but up to you.

I guess you didn't disconnect battery first which has triggered the airbag code due too pre tensioner in the seat.
Needs codes reset now battery off won't sort it, most cheap code readers couldn't reset airbag in the past may be different now as I understand it but I remember a little airbag only reset Tool was cheap to buy.

If you own a laptop then buy this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fits-BMW-Sca ... 2749.l2648
It will do everything you ever want to do to a BMW. I have this one, and it works perfectly (no affiliation to seller, by the way!)
