As per Nictrix's post ^^^ above, I've now attached new images for continuity. They may or not be the ones I posted originally, but they are some I had forgotten about that are relevant.
I abandoned that idea not long after. I still carry the tools, but instead of a spare wheel I now carry a Stop'n'go tyre plugger kit.
I read somewhere, recently, that current average mileage for a family-run diesel is 9.2k/year. Something to do with the proliferation of multi-car families. I always considered it to be 10-12k, but that was based on what was "the norm" back in the late '70s/early'80s when I started buying cars. The last 2 years I've only been doing c.8k - even before COVID.
They went on Gumtree, actually - sans tyres - and sold within 8hrs. They will be going on an F30 that lives about 25 miles form me.
