All

Car stalled whilst driving at around 40mph, no warning or rev blip. I pulled over, at first it wouldn't start, fired up on second attempt.

Got the following error codes:
  • 47C7 - Injector 6, control
    47B7 - Injector 5, control
    47A7 - Injector 4, activation
    4797 - Injector 3, control
    4787 - Injector 2, control
    4767 - Injector 1, control
What would cause this?

6 injectors going down at once seems unlikely. Electrical issue is what I would go for. Engine cover off and look for water where it shouldn’t be.

Look for water around injectors 5&6 causing a short to ground, any kind of water in the connectors on the injectors, water anywhere along the wiring, plugs at ECU dry, any kind of wiring damage. It was wet last weekend and that may be the issue. Injectors should all show 180-200 Ohms resistance.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

As above but look at the wires going to the injectors.
I had something very like this and it was one wire had rubbed on the steel injector pipe ever so slightly.

It would appear some form of water ingress was causing the problem. Thanks

It's common for the hard plastic corner pieces on the bulkhead to crack and let water run onto the rear 2 injectors , my drivers one was split that covers the master cylinder they are about 110 each new ! :o I could get a secondhand one they were all broke too.
