I have a X5 2003 and in the centre console there is a sliding cover and after sliding the cover there is a tray which can be removed. Underneath the tray are two cup holders. I would like to bring the Ipod lead into the tray area. Does anyone know how to bring the wire in to where the tray is?

2 ways:
1. Take the centre console out - do a search for x555 as the author and 'centre console' for the key words. Can't remember if it was a complete 'How To' but it is not easy.
2. Use patience, perseverance and a coat hanger!
