Aero Wiper Blades

Post by jeegnesh » Mon Jun 04, 2012 12:03 pm

[quote=""B5tew""]The plastic guide is on the existing wiper arm on your car and because the aero wipers have a lower profile it touches the blade as the wiper moves across the screen and lifts the centre of the wiper
At least that was what was happening on my car

cheers buddy I see it now, once the kids and Missus are out the house Wednesday I'll put the blades back on and see if that is causing the issue on my blades before cutting it off.

Might be a job for a Dremel, wonder who has one of them, hmmmm

I know this is ancient now but what you said does work, although no need to cut the plastic, it's a clip that just comes off, now the aero's work nicely.

possibly slightly hijacking the thread and apologies of that is the case, but I have just received Bosch aero blades today. Looking at the packaging it shows that on the wiper blade you pinch the middle and open out a piece at 90 degree to insert the hook arm, close the piece and off you go. however the actual plades insude look like the arm just slots in and there seems to be no way to open the piece how
Hopefully you can see the images below. Its dark outside right now so i cant see what is on the car but I recall is is the hook arm type so have I been sent the wrong thing ?

Image

I only seem to be able to upload one pic of the instruction so will post the actual blade separately
