E53 BOOT FLOOR - DIFFERENCE IN SHAPE BTWN MK1 & MK2?

Post by shy7g » Wed Jun 13, 2012 4:47 pm

Hi all,  I'm looking to put a rubber boot protector mat in to save the carpet getting messed up. I have been told that there is a difference in the boot floor shapes between the Mk1 (2000-2003)  and the Mk2 (2004-2007),  is this correct?  (excuss me if my dates are out abit).
Anyone know exactly what the differences are so I know what to look for when trying to find one?

Only on other thing, I haven't got my X5 at the moment, it's coming Friday, hopefully, could someone tell me what is the diameter of the steering wheel is please so I can purchase a Disklock for some added protection and to deter the opportunists out there.

Many thanks
Rich.

Welcome to the forum Rich. :hi:

And no difference in the facelift or pre-facelift.

If still going for one, check here. Not sure if that works for you location-wise though...

Sanj, do you just sit in your X with a tape measure in your hand, or do you work from your X? You always seem able to give accurate  dimensional answers straight away .;):P
