Oval exhaust tip conversion for 4.4i X5's

In case anyone else was wanting to do the same, I have just tracked down an ebay seller offering retrofit oval exhaust tips that simply fix over the standard 4.4i quad pipes giving that 4.6is/4.8is look.

I may invest unless anyone else has found a better alternative for similar outlay?

BMW direct. Do the original but are 90 each

Do they fit onto the 4.4's quad pipes?

It looks like the old tailpipe piece needs cutting off before this will fit?
