Webesto Heater

Post by Aaron_P85 » Wed Nov 28, 2012 7:36 pm

Hi all, looking at the maintenance and price of petrol vs the Diesel equivalent...nearly neck and neck over the years. I'd rather have a petrol with LPG...so, does any of the petrol range come with the Webesto heater? I know most/alot of diesels have them but can they put on a petrol? and if they're uber rare...could i retro fit one? love walking into a warm car when my garage is full...
Regards
Aaron

All diesels had them (UK spec) and they can be put on the petrol ones.

Yes rare and mega mission to retro fit (if you find one).

Just adding the Webasto to the X6 is about £1,600 at build.  Probably that in labour to retrofit at Dealer prices!!

I'm happy with electric heated seats and steering wheel heating.... :)

On the X5s. Always had the per heat and loved it, especially when skiing and it was -15 and colder.

Does anyone remember the site where it details how many cars are left on the road with X Y Z options?
