I will get on to it tomorrow and send him a pic of my wheel to see if he would be open to me part exing my wheel and mention he was recommended by you and this site

I'm assuming this means the E46 wheel will fit the X5?

Mention EvoTechnik also.

As for E46 wheel fitting, it will be a straight swap on the pre-facelift but on the facelift E53 you have to change the slipring also and airbag.

If it keeps SWMBO happy then it's a good thing. Anyway, a small button on the steering wheel is slightly less obtrusive than 700kg's of Italian fashion statement
