bmw scanner 1.4.0 help ....if you can??????

first screen shot shows me selecting Aux heater from the menu.......all good.

2nd image shows the aux heater status screen.....all good.

3rd screen shows that after clicking on "coding data" a child screen is brought up with only 2 options selectable, the re-coding button will not select......I have adjusted some other stuff ok like the alarm settings etc and the recoding button works fine to access those so not sure whats up?????

Glad you've got it talking to the car Chelsea, it's motivated me to try with W8 64 later.

From memory the Aux heating isn't enabled from the aux heating module itself, there's a tick box for it in one of the other modules. It may be the IKE or body control module, I can't remember which but it's definitely there somewhere.

.....absolutely not sure if it will work with windows 8 , the extra drivers I downloaded were exe for windows 7 64 bit.
I will try and load it up on my missis's windows 8 tomorrow and report back

Just as an update for newbies or anyone else who has to get a new laptop like me.

The drivers links to on page 1 work perfectly on Windows 8 64 bit.
