The troublesome "self level susp inact" error

The O/S brake light seal was damaged (due to age ) so repaired the seal water tested and no longer allowing water to pass. I also carefully drilled a 6mm hole in the corner of the battery well to allow any water to run away before building up.

Total overkill but I siliconed a plastic plate onto the bottom of the plastic housing that retains the modual so it's self contained in its own little housing. (Did this prior to drilling the hole)
