That offset shouldn't make any difference really so they should happily fit the e53

BMW says no dice but dealer agrees with you ..so I guess I'll give it a whirl next winter

The offsets are not an issue but to ensure a proper fit you will need a set of spigot rings as the centre bore on the E70 is 74.1 whereas the E53 is 72.5. Of course you could always buy my E71 X6 rims for your newly acquired E53 and i'll give the spigot rings too.....lol
