If you want the IV (Intravee) then absolutely essential. BOTH units required and the Alpine KCA must come with both cables.

I love mine and would recommend to anyone wanting to install there iPod or iPhone in there car

I got a new intravee from toysinyourcar and a second hand KCA with cables for around £200. Can get them as a pair on eBay for about the same money but my intravee is new with warranty which I prefer as that's the expensive part of the two

These guys are brilliant, heard virtually no units being U/S and most posts on the IV forum indicate the problems are resolved by just sending the units back. No drama.

I'll let wilko have first dibs as I hijacked his thread. I am keen for 1 though

With you there Sanj, with the price of used being around the same as new I went for new.

KCA was £50 on eBay but they can go for as little as £30
