[quote=""rusty nail""]It would make sense that the system would take the value from each sensor (each sensor will read differently as I'm sure they re not THAT accurate) when it is reset, and then monitors this value and if it moves out of a preset tolerance, the 'bing' occurs.

Simple software really :)

This would appear to be the way it works, set the pressures as per the book, 2.2bar, reset the RDC control, then deflated the front right by approx .3 bar and the alarm activated, I then reset the RDC again and all was well. Altered the pressure back to the book setting and reset the RDC again.
The alarm must just look for deflation, ( obvious really ), as it didn't "bing" when I inflated the tyre again, before re-teaching.
Good job the neighbours weren't about, they think I'm a bit anal about cars anyway, god knows what they would have thought about me letting my tyres down, and then pumping them up again.

I think a few of us have neighbours with that opinion of us when it comes to our cars......

The ones opposite me (with a Fiesta) just use the local sand wash - sorry supermarket car wash - and can't understand why I sometimes spend most of a Sunday cleaning mine.
