Very kind of you sir, and it's half the reason for me buying it a second time around, that and the LPG system the previous owner had fitted.
But unfortunately the funds are needed for our soon to be, ( hopefully ), rental property, and my missus has just decided she would quite like to start up her/our own business from home and leave her current work in a few years time, so you can see my dilemma.
On that note, we might be looking for someone to do a website for us soon, so if there's anyone lurking on here that is into that sort of thing then give me a shout please.

It made me smile as well in one of the eBay vehicles, they have stated that as long as the car is warm enough when you get back in it, then it will start up on gas. Never heard of that one before.

Mine always starts on gas if the car is warm. Over the summer iv left it for a few hrs, gone back to it and it's started on gas.

I am surprised at mpg figures on your 4.6 - Did not think would be much different from my 4.4.

My journey to work is short, therefore not great for consumption. My average tank on petrol was around 20mpg, on lpg it is around 18mpg.

I usually need around a tenner of petrol to go along with a tank or so of lpg (75 litre fill) - Mine start on petrol always but if warm already switches over very quickly (10 - 20 seconds), in the mornings from cold it switches over after around 1.5 miles, set to switch when engine at 45c

With lpg at half price still a massive saving - I would not have kept my X5 without getting it converted. I get around 300 miles from £60 all in (tank of lpg + £10 petrol). 20p/mile fuel cost for a big V8 4.4 cant be bad :)

Hmmm maybe depends on the system? I fill up £10 petrol and it lasts for about 3 full fill ups...

It would also depend on what sort of journeys you are doing, the less stop start, the less petrol used. Simples.

Yeah, lots of stop start and short journeys for me recently - when i do some decent trips then use virtually no petrol.
