Re: UPGRADE SPEAKERS E53

Question for those with the knowledge. I have a 2002 X5 3.0 d with 5 speed manual, delivered new in Italy. It has the standard business radio and CD system. I have what seems to be called the basic speaker set-up (big ones in rear and front doors, dash tweeters and no front door tweeters). When I was installing Dynamat in all four doors (a SIGNIFICANT improvement in sound as well as how the door sound when you close them) I did look for the connectors for the front door tweeters and rear door high range speaker - can't find.
Who would know about bringing the car from 6 to 10 speakers (and I'd upgrade at this time, likely BSW as I have an easy way to get them from the US to Europe)? I've retrofit PDC on my car, cruise control/multifunction steering wheel and other factory options. Surely there is a way to do this.
Anyone have some knowledge or experience with this?
