Phil those look great, thanks for the link, il drop a load of hints and hope the mrs catches on for xmas!

Shad my friends call me either imy or imsy so i found a plate ending in 1MSY and the first three symbols are my sons initials so i thought it was a right result... although the mrs is unhappy she doesnt get a look in as she thinks its "our" car as an oppose to "MY" car.

Number plate will be good buddy! Get one made ready for the change over for when that all important letter drops through the post!

Those rear lights look close to mine - mine are two squares of 3x3 instead of the 4x4 here. And mine aren't smoked but OEM looking... Nice though!

when i first started driving i used to seriously trick out my cars.

one trick i had for the rear lights was to buy window tint spray

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Window-Ti ... 2561bf7b42

just like the above. i would spray two coats over it and it would make the rear lights look ping! it didnt black them out as such, it just added a smoke to it and gave it a glossy finish. didnt look chavvy, and it was far better than the black ladies tights over the lights technique that was all the rage back then...

I wrote my first car off and out of curiousity sprayed it on.

long story short... it looked cack.

Personal preference obviously but I prefer the smoked tail light look.

Gives it a more modern look and still looks OEM to the untrained eye!  ;)

Definitely don't do anything permanent as 'tinting' is one of the areas that the EU want to outlaw under the new MoT regs - assuming they get through - which could turn into an expensive problem......far too much EU meddling!!
