After reading this thread I did a bit of investigation work and have purchased an ELM327 WiFi module and downloaded DashCommand on my ipad and it works brilliantly.
I have only tried the basic functions on it sat on my drive but it will calculate 0-60 times standing 1/4 mile and lots of other things that I will be trying later
The app cost £6.99 but is well worth it in my opinion and I also got it on my iphone
Oh and my car had no fault codes stored so happy days. :)
