Aftermarket I think, but made from abs Plastic. I bought kit off a guy on ebay who had bought it, had it sprayed, then never got round to fitting it . I paid £150 for it which I think is an absolute dteal
And it comes with a fitting kit, some self tappers, quick bolts etc. I didn't fit kit, but looking at the kit briefly, there are brackets which are mounted to the car, then the panels clip into the brackets etc.
You thinking of getting the kit ?

or he had just twocked it off someone elses car!

ummm no, its never been mounted to a car its brand new. All fitting kit completely untouched, and looks immaculate, I could tell if it was used.

[/quote]I have that one saved in my watch list, does it actually come with all the fixings as shown? as it has about twice as many as all the other kits on ebay.

Cool, looks good.
I'm about to buy an aero kit for mine but I'm going to paint all the plastic body colour on mine.
I think as mines black having black plastic looks cheap on it.
I've got the chrome/titanium kidney grilles but think I want black.
I don't know whether to paint them all black or just the chrome outers and as the bumper grilles are titanium I'm not sure what to do with them either.
I'm going down a very similar line to you, I'm getting all the updates done next week along with a lot of coding done (fold mirrors on lock, close windows on lock without having to hold the button and activated by comfort locking, angel eyes non dimming, plus whatever else I can), already got the private plate on, led number plate lights on, tv in motion done.
Also replacing all the bmw badges with black carbon ones.
Painting the wheels dark grey and will change the angel eye bulbs.
What's the security update?

Only now spotted you said your car is black!! can kinda see what you mean now, might look awesome all sprayed body colour with black.

Yea being a black car with dark grey plastic I think looks cheap. They look wicked fully painted.
And good call on the plastidip, didn't think of that but I will definately do the grilles/mesh with it. It seems such a shame to paint the optional titanium.

Can you paint the plastic, or do bmw make 2 lots- one bare plastic, and 1 primed?

Cheers- thanks for letting me know.
There's plenty of naked plastic bumpers on ebay, but no decent painted ones.
If i have to paint it i should get a splitter, as it works out cheaper (using "Man-maths")
