if it starts straight away when warm now, then don't fix it if it ain't broke lol.  But no doubt it will probably rear its head in the future.  But until then just enjoy driving it with a bit of knowledge ready for if it does start misbehaving again.  Get the filter anyways

Yeah it seems to now mate! Just booked in for a service for when I get back onshore... £280!!! lol

tidy!! I'm ex instrument tech, now on op's.  Work on an Lng plant now, but used to work on Refinery.

Haha yeah, I've worked over there, I used to also at Murco, Milford haven quite a lot too.

I didn't work for Murco, I was there nearly every month, I used to do the trevi-testing on the safety valves. I used to do it for Tom James, real nice guy he was.

Ahh ok, yes I know of Tom.  I did my apprenticeship with Murco.  Im over on South Hook now.

Ah South Hook, cool.

Car scanner just turned up, so when I get onshore I'll get it plugged in and give it a code clear, then drive around a bit.

The wife has had a full service done, but the "Fuel Inject System" warning is stil showing now and again, nothing seems to be perminent so hopefully its nothing major. (fingers crossed!)

mine wouldnt start when hot, and finally played up when cold.
Had all injectors checked. 4 within spec. one failed on pressure during test, one failed pressure before test.
had those 2 refurbished And starts like a dream every time now.

I've not had any problems with it starting since that incident in Watford, I just get the warning every so often.
