It was gearbox out again..

Changed bellhousing / oil pump from the butchered 3.0i petrol one to the correct 3.0D one.
new flex plate as that onehad snapped again...
Smacked seven bales of .... out of the front brakes and replaced the discs and pads.
Fitted new venturi type breather
Then oil service.

so not a lot really!!

Next is front bushes and prob steering ball joints as still got a little wobble under braking..

So the truth, as always, is a little boring....
sorry ... lol

You must have regular nightmares about that gearbox by now....... :blink:

Steamy, I think your gearboxes must know you can repair them, that's why they keep breaking!
6k miles on mine now, and still going ok. Trying to book in for transmission flush and fluid change, but too much work on to be hanging around gearbox shops.
Doing my rear bushes (oo-er) at the weekend, then it'll be fronts soon after...
