Edit - On a serious note, I really like the satin black grilles. Is that your car? If so, did you remove them to paint them - and what did you use? Those pics are tempting me to do mine.

Not to worry, No flashing neons being fitted. ☺️
Grills were removed (Very easy), a very light rub down (and the grills could do with being rubbed down too, lol), light coat of primer and a few coats of Satin Auto paint. Many light coats are better than a heavy spray (That could come under the egg sucking banner sorry), just take your time and make sure its fully dry before trying to refit.
