What size eyelets are on the maplin leads?

im pretty sure M8  it doesnt say on their ad but ive seen it elsewhere.

looks like the app for the ctek battery sense is useless if you have ios 11 on Apple phone

no way would it connect  borrowed friends Android and it works though not convinced of accuracy

it said 34% on a battery that was full charged only a few days ago

Cable run should not make any difference as those battery cables are very large.  Front or back will do.

You are more likely to get a signal out from the back than the front, however radio is funny stuff and you may need to adjust it to suit your car and need to get a signal.

Bit late with my post but.....
I have two cteks. I use one all the time.
On the E53 I plugged my ctek into the cigar charger. The cigar lighter on my car is live with the ignition out.
Works a treat when the car is not being used.
