can anyone tell me is it just the seats and switch panel I need to get heated seats in my x5 thanks for your time ,will wiring already be there

Yes wiring will already be there. You will need that centre console switch and the seats as you already know.

Do you have to replace entire seat or can a heating matrix be fitted to the existing seat?

I originally posted the way to do this in the 'How to' section of the E53 sub-forum...
Pretty easy to do - need the heated seats and the switch module - that's all.

Relay is pretty pricey and difficult to find.
