Just to add.

Baris (xKalibar) also sells repaired BM54 units as well as doing all the upgrades and repairs. He often has a few on the shelf I think. Can't remember the prices but

Drop him a line at [email protected]

He has a full "menu" of options on a PDF hell send you

I was very impressed with his service-his finish is of very high quality

I found that cable. It's not for the extra amp. It seems to be plugged into some kind of junction box or a well buried module.

The extra amp when fitted is close but has a very different connector. The amp is attached the back of the metal plate under the CD player.

The silver Bluetooth module is the part on the bottom of your picture and that's bolted to a black steel plate. The extra amp is hidded totally out of sight on the backside of that plate.

It's only fitted if your car has the 10 speaker hifi package.

I saw this on my listing:-
"S818A    BATTERIEHAUPTSCHALTER    Battery master switch"

anyone got a clearer idea what that actually means??
Is it the ignition switch?  :-[

It's the little 'bomb' connected to the main battery cable in the boot.  If you have a crash there's a squib that fires and disconnects the main cable whilst leaving a little low current connection to run the airbags and (if fitted) telematics.  It's to prevent battery induced fires.

It's one reason to be a little cautious when playing with the +ve battery connector.  I'm sure we all do it, but it's worth just saying always take the -ve off first and put it back last.

S676 is the 10 speaker hifi. Your dont have that listed there and I didn't spot dsp either so you just need the bm54 sorting out and your ready to roll.

No secondary amp for your car.
