Re: Bye Bye X5 - Hello X6
Ok, its i've had the X6 a couple of weeks and 1200 miles now....and i'm loving it.
Standout features for me are:
1. Active steering is excellent and a vast improvement over my E70's heavy steering.
2. Comfort seats are exactly what it says on the tin...All day luxurious.
3. 40D engine is a beauty, but not quit as lively as my old remapped X535D and 635D - so i'll remap when the warranty expires.
4. The 8 speed box very smooth, and with good ratios.
5. High speed handling is awesome - better than my X5 and almost as good as my 635D.
Overall i'd describe the X640D as cross between my X535D and 635D, incorporating the best bits of both.
Love it...
