Says the man who callously dumped his E53 (with zero mods) apart from an Intravee which should be in the For Sale section by now btw, unless you've favoured your Z4 buddies more than us! :poke:

Well I've finally got it through. Stupid piece of carpet that was doubled over and trapped. Managed to free it and the cable popped through.
Seat back in place and rear footwell lights back in. The rest of the trim can wait till tomorrow when there is more light, and hopefully the iPod extender cable I've ordered will arrive tomorrow so I can convert it to be used with the intravee.
That's the bit I will be photographing and doing some kind of "how to".

The M is the toy and all the mods are in there, none in the X indeed :D

All done including the intravee/iPhone 4 snap in adapter.
Made a classic school boy error last night though and left the interior lights on. Flat battery this morning do'h.
My battery charger lent out 130 mile round trip away.
Luckily my local garage (who I use for 90% of things I don't do myself) is walking distance and they lent me there's for 90 mins. Great big heavy snap-on thing on wheels, looks like one of them tartan shopping bags on wheels. Anyway job done, pics taken. Just need to clip the eject box and snap in adapter into place in the morning and maybe write a how to if anyone else plans similar.
