I'm almost embarrassed to ask, but age gives me an excuse. I followed the brilliant guide, got everything fitted, fixed a few faults along the way (exhaust, heat shields, rust.) but the smallest simplest of tasks alludes me. How to secure the tow hook inside, I know there's a Velcro strap but I am not seeing where it attaches.

Left side of the boot under the floor, it fits into a frame tail up. The tail sits in the formed plastic edge piece, mine has an over centre clip to lock it in place. I will take a pic later if it helps

Brilliant Greydog, I haven't got that overcenter clip, I'll have to try and acquire one. Thanks for taking the time to help, much appreciated.

Just had a look on realoem and the mounting bracket complete with over centre lock is Part 71601097191 in equipment and parts.

Some of the specialist breakers may be a starting point

Now i know where to put mine instead of having it floating around in the boot.

Looked in the boot and saw this. the two black wires have come out. It’s not clear to me which holes they go back into. A picture or idiots guide would be great.

Both black in the first by the looks of it.

I’d go with that...assuming black has been used for DC Ground.

My only issue with that advice is that the hole is very small and wires very thick in comparison. One would really struggle if not impossible to fit both wires in one hole?

Here’s a suggestion then.

I agree that they do look a little ‘chunky’ to make fit so what you could do is strip one back a little further and solder the second wire to it a bit higher up, cover it with a bit of heat shrink sleeving and then you only have one wire’s thickness to get in the hole.  If that makes sense?

Perfect sense, I think I had a dose of "can't see the wood for the trees"

I've just bought myself a new trailer and it comes with LED lights which is causing issues when using the brakes or indicators as the LEDs require much less power than conventional bulbs.

Has anyone fitted resistors to the towing electrics to stop this?
