E53 bluetooth pairing button not working (torn wires)

Hi everyone
Im new to the forum and had a problem with my bluetooth pairing button. I had tried everything from fuses to a new pair button nothing had worked.
I when taking a closer look at the wiring harness there was 2 wires which were torn. Tried soldering the wires back to see if this would work. It worked for about 5 mins. Paired my phone and when i went to pair a 2nd phone it stopped working.
Tried messing with the wires again and it didnt work. At this point it was around 3 hours and literally no progress. I got a bit annoyed tapped up the torn wires and left it.
The next day webt to start the car and it started paring mode (the wires which i paired had been cut off and taped)
This has confused me and i do not know what to do next. Wires were torn on the vehcile harness not the pair button harness.
